📘 When strangled with a strong reaction towards an uncontrollable happening in our surroundings, art becomes a useful tool to demontrate it and transform the emotions from the most negative to the constructive.

📘🎨 Events happening near us, perhaps due to our historical ties, freeze our blood even more and make us feel more helpless. The killing of innocent, defenseless people and children is the most real and cruel indicator that man, despite all the progress, cannot move one step further from the most primitive ages and acts brutally with his raw nature.
When I was struggling with these thoughts and emotions this painting came into being.
📕🎨Yakınımızda meydana gelen olaylar, belki de tarihi bağlarımızdan olabilir, kanımızı daha fazla donduruyor, bizlere çaresiz olduğumuzu daha fazla hissettiriyor. Masum savunmasız insanların ve çocukların öldürülmesi insanın tüm ilerlemelere rağmen en ilkel çağlardan bir adım öteye gidemediğini ham doğasıyla vahşice hareket ettiğinin en gerçek ve acımasız göstergesi.
Ben bu düşünce ve duygularla boğuşurken bu tablo ortaya çıktı.

📘🎨 I intended to paint a pet cat that passed away suddenly. During that week I heard about the tragic death of a mother and daughter on the same day due to an accident. And all of a sudden we had the massive earthquakes killing thousands and injuring several more and leaving thousands homeless in my country. While listening to the news, despite solidarity, a deep agony prevailed everywhere. These thoughts and emotions took a long while to shape on the canvas.
Below given painting is telling the story of us mankind helpless against the nature.
📕🎨 Aniden ölen bir ev kedisinin resmini yapmayı düşünüyordum. O hafta bir anne ve kızının aynı gün kaza sonucu trajik ölümünü duydum. Ve birdenbire ülkemde binlerce kişinin ölümüne, daha fazlasının yaralanmasına ve binlerce kişinin evsiz kalmasına neden olan devasa depremler yaşandı. Haberleri dinlerken dayanışmaya rağmen derin bir ıstırap her yere hakim oldu. Bu düşünce ve duyguların tuvalde şekillenmesi uzun zaman aldı.
Aşağıdaki tablo doğa karşısında çaresiz kalan biz insanoğlunun hikâyesini anlatmaktadır.
